Cedar Dish. Ethan Goggans. ETG. Full of smiles! One of the kindest people I’ve ever met! Ethan is my main wood supplier. He and his dad are those guys who can do just about anything that needs getting done! They own a massive farm right off of Richburg Road, Sandy Run Farm & Nursery, where you can go and pick your own blueberry and blackberries every year. You basically can find anything and everything that’s awesome on their farm! I really wanted to give Ethan a bowl to thank him for not just the wood, but for being AMAZING. He serves people with such grace expecting nothing in return. He truly is an example of how we are called to serve others. He has worked for a few restaurants around the Hattiesburg area, the latest being Donanelle’s. When he came over to pick up his bowl, I told him how much I appreciated his example of how to love people even when they don’t necessarily deserve it, he said, “I get to know people because I wait on them.” Wow. I need to be more like Ethan. I need to serve others in order to really get to know them. So often I expect people to get to know me. Why? I want to be like Ethan. I want to realize that we are called to wait and serve others in order to love them. Thank you, Ethan, for everything. Most importantly, thank you for showing me how to serve others with so much joy and happiness!
Some of the images below are of the wood pile that Ethan helps us dig through and dad riding with Ethan oh his MASSIVE tractor which looks more like a scary transformer then a tractor. When I see this destruction-creator, capable of killing me if it sneezed, I feel like I should expect to see Shia LaBeouf nearby, ready to save the planet by zapping this yellow monster with the AllSpark Cube! We always have so much fun with Ethan!!
